NYC Trip
We live in LA, but Manhattan Beach is in the suburbs, so being close to the city is so much fun, having things to do at all times of the day! Growing up, my sister Maddie and I took a specific dancing class called Broadway Jazz, and when we were in New York, we would go see plays where they were doing the same dancing that we do. That was very inspiring, especially since Maddie and I have been dancing our whole lives, from Jazz to Modern to Tap to Hip Hop to Ballet. We saw Hades Town on Broadway together. I really like Greek mythology, and it was so exciting to see the combination of classical Greek mythology and modern dance. In NYC, we always stay in SoHo, and experiencing the booming business climate of NYC exposed me to the world of international business, teaching me how important international trade and relations are to the overall economy!
Adventures in Greece
Greece is a happy place for me, and the sun always seems to be shining on me when I’m there! Also, traveling with my family is one of my favorite things, because we get closer when we travel, and we never fight or disagree. It’s so nice to just enjoy each other’s company.

Ava & Keri in New Orleans
It doesn’t really feel like I’m in the US when I’m in New Orleans! Once you feel the energy of the French Creole culture, and the warmth of their Southern hospitality, I feel like it has a positive effect on everyone. I enjoy the food, the Jazz music, the local pride, and the cultural identity that is the pulse of the city! We went and toured the nearby swamps, because we enjoy getting out into nature. In fact, on our boat tour, we were able to see people who had built their homes on the swamp, living amongst the alligators in peace and harmony! I have so much respect for how much everyone makes an effort to enjoy life in New Orleans.

Ava & Maddie in Boston
I really like Boston because of all the American history there. Let’s face it, the West Coast is beautiful, but it’s a lot ‘newer’ than the East Coast. Here’s my sister Maddie and I at the spot where the Boston Massacre happened… I’m not sure how they can remember the exact spot, but here we are! Watching my sister Maddie find her way so quickly in Boston has been highly inspiring to me. She moved there to go to college last year, and seeing her thrive has made me even more.

Ava & Maddie
This was taken at my pre-Prom photos, and my sister Maddie always comes with me to all my important events in my life, since we’re so close. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader. I scrolled through her phone recently to look for something, and I was amazed at how her phone was full of photos of us together and even just photos of ME! I’m so bad at remembering to take photos, so it’s really heartwarming to see how much she cares about me, especially documenting all my most important moments.
